§ Co-founder, COO. With Dr. Josh Lerner of HBS, co-founded and provided day-to-day management and content development for a highly customized consulting group addressing the needs of the private capital industry. Services included impact assessment for multi-national agencies (IFC, Inter-American Development Bank, World Bank); strategic reviews for private equity firms; custom research; and skills training.
Harvard Business School, Boston, MA (1998 - 2012)
§ Teaching Fellow. Coordinated curriculum and prepared material for very popular second-year class, Venture Capital and Private Equity; a first-year class, The Entrepreneurial Manager; and the executive education program, Private Equity and Venture Capital. Researched and wrote over 150 cases and associated material (books, cases, background and teaching notes).
§ Manager, Center for Case Development. Co-founded and managed a group of writers that provided editing and writing services to faculty. Developed and conducted training seminars for all case-writers.
§ Research Associate, Marketing Department. Researched and wrote cases on marketing strategy.

§ Director of Communications: In conjunction with partners, developed initial Investor Relations operation. Attended and participated in all investment committee meetings. Designed public relations material, compiled quarterly reports, and developed other communications for the top-tier global venture capital and growth equity firm.

§ Edited technical papers for faculty at HBS and at MIT’s Sloan School.
§ Designed the Private Equity MBA Gym online exercise for the Financial Times.
§ Researched and wrote cases for the Community Development Venture Capital Alliance.

§ Senior Business Analyst, Strategic Planning & Inventory Management Departments: Researched and wrote corporate business plans and white papers, managed staff of six. Maintained competitor newsletter. Led a cross-functional project to automate recommendations for out-of-stock items and trained front-line telephone staff on its use.

§ Senior Load Forecaster, Economic & Load Forecasting Department: Produced and documented short-term budget forecasts. Led cross-functional project on replacing transmission investments with conservation, which received industry award for innovation.
